Movie Plot:

Cholita, who had been away in Mexico City, returns home and surprises everyone by showing up with her fiancé, the city-dwelling Fernando, instead of her expected childhood sweetheart José. This causes tension and disappointment for José and Cholita’s uncle due to Fernando’s lack of familiarity with Mexican culture and aversion to rural living.
