Movie Plot:

Paula, unable to have children, accidentally injures a child while driving. Feeling guilty, she becomes a helper at the hospital where the child is receiving care and is asked to be his speech therapist and guardian, bringing meaning and purpose to her life. Later, when the child can speak, there is a fear that he may implicate her for the accident.
