Movie Plot:

An American woman named Sadie Thompson is traveling on a steamship from San Francisco to Apia, and must make an unexpected stop in Pago Pago. She is judged by fellow passengers, including a self-righteous man named Mr. Davidson, who believes she is a prostitute and threatens to have her deported. However, a U.S. Marine named Tim O’Hara falls in love with her and tries to protect her from Davidson’s plans.
