Movie Plot:

Kato Tateo, a head flight instructor for the Imperial Japanese Army-Air Corps, trains a new crop of volunteers to become fighter pilots before and during the Second Sino-Japanese War of 1937. As the war progresses, Kato must face increasingly advanced and deadly enemies, but he persists in advocating for the development and production of modern fighter planes for his men.
