Movie Plot:

Jamie Bartlett is a frustrated freshman who escapes the pressures of high school by writing in her journal about a popular and confident fictional character named Isabella. When Jamie accidentally turns in her journal as a homework assignment, she wins a writing contest and becomes a national sensation, but she starts to lose herself as she becomes more popular. As Isabella begins to influence her real life, Jamie must choose between popularity and her true self and friends.
