Movie Plot:

A young man named Tito pretends to be a scholar and gains respect from a blind man in Renaissance Florence. He flirts with a peasant girl, marries a woman named Romola for her father’s wishes, but his rise in power through corrupt means leads to his ultimate downfall and death. Romola ends up with her true love, Carlo the sculptor.
