Movie Plot:

Gaston Dewalter, a French gentleman who is almost broke, spends a few days in Biarritz before leaving in his fancy Hispano-Suiza car, a gift from his friends. He pretends to be wealthy in order to become the lover of Lady Stéphane Oswill, but she ends up spending the money he had hoped to use to rebuild his fortune in Senegal.
