Movie Plot:

Stanislaw, an art museum worker in Warsaw, is falsely accused of stealing a painting. He goes into hiding as a woman, Maria, and takes on various jobs, causing confusion and misunderstandings, in order to avoid jail time. Eventually, his disguise is put to the test when his boss wants him to pretend to be a man for a presentation.
