Plot for the movie:

Joanna and Grant Stayton III are a wealthy and arrogant couple who mistreat others and rely on Joanna’s family money. After an accident causes Joanna to lose her memory, she is taken in by a local carpenter, Dean Proffitt, who sees an opportunity for revenge and pretends she is his wife. Despite her initial behavior, Dean begins to fall in love with her and questions his actions, while Joanna’s mother searches for her and she recovers her memory.
