Plot for the movie:

A group of German spies steal a shortwave transmitter and use it to broadcast secret information to a Japanese sub. In order to stop them, the U.S. government fires top radio engineers and sets up a trap by monitoring them for recruitment by the spies. One engineer, Lew Deerhold, becomes entangled in the spy ring and faces danger as he tries to save his ward’s life.
