Movie Plot:

The plot discusses the historical events surrounding the Champs D’Elysee as viewed by Guitry, including the influence of Concini during Marie De Medicis’s regency. Later, the king Louis the Fifteenth sends all his doctors to Marquis De Chauvelin due to a prophecy that he will die shortly after him, potentially revealing the king’s insecurities about his own mortality.
