Movie Plot:

This is the first film in a semi-autobiographical trilogy by Smihi, depicting the life of Mohamed-Larbi Salmi in 1950s Tangier as he navigates the conflicting influences of his religious upbringing, French education, and the changing Moroccan society. Larbi Salmi is a young, shy, pre-teen boy trying to understand his place in the world.
