Movie Plot:

Brigitte reminisces about her childhood in the 1950s, growing up in a cramped apartment with her family and eventually moving to the countryside, where she learns about life from her grandfather. Upon returning to Paris, she witnesses the ups and downs of her sisters’ lives and ultimately rejects a man who impregnates her. Meanwhile, her parents and other family members also experience their own romantic struggles.
