Movie Plot:

“The Countess Cosel” is a movie that tells the story of Anna Constantia von Brockdorff, a beautiful and devout German noblewoman who becomes the mistress of Augustus the Strong, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony. Despite believing that she has won the king’s love and commitment, Anna is ultimately heartbroken and struggles against him when he replaces her with another mistress and disregards their written promise of marriage.
