Movie Plot:

During the 1950s, the American cargo ship SS Berwind is stuck in New Zealand with an inexperienced captain and a crew that is demoralized and undisciplined. However, unknown to the new captain and most of the crew, two criminals have a plan to start a mutiny, destroy the radio equipment, and kill everyone on board while they drift in the Pacific. Despite their long-term plans, the ship has enough supplies to last for six months.
