Movie Plot:

Attorney Jefferson Keane becomes a hero when he successfully petitions for a pardon for a wrongly convicted boy. He then becomes a senator and gives an impassioned speech against big business, but is later seduced by his wife who is involved in illegal activities, causing a Senate investigation and ultimately leading to his death.
