Movie Plot:

The story follows the former plantation owner Alan and his freed slave brother Britt, who gets into a fight with a man and is later sought after for revenge. This leads to tragedy as Alan is shot and his wife is killed, sending him into a spiral of depression and disappearance while Britt takes on the role of a deputy marshall to seek justice for his brother.
