Movie Plot:

The story follows Andrei Sakharov, a Russian physicist and civil rights activist, as he risks his career and freedom in the fight against his government’s oppressive treatment of its citizens. Despite being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Sakharov is denied the opportunity to receive it and responds with a hunger strike to protest the mistreatment of his people.
