Movie Plot:

Fadinard is on his way to his wedding when his horse eats a straw hat belonging to a married woman in the arms of a French officer. The officer follows Fadinard to his new home and demands a replacement hat so his lover can return home secretly. Fadinard’s attempts to find a new hat escalate as he races to his wedding, leading to even more complications.
