Movie Plot:

Sir Giles Lynchwood, a wealthy and powerful Conservative MP, is unhappy with his decaying manor house and his strong-willed wife, Lady Maud. He plots to get rid of the house by convincing the government to build a motorway through it, but Maud finds out and attempts to stop it with the help of her handyman Blott. However, Giles and the motorway controller have other plans.
