Movie Plot:

A wealthy Argentine patriarch has two daughters married to a Frenchman and a German respectively, but he favors the French family causing tension among the German family. After the patriarch’s death, the French family moves to Paris where his grandson, Julio, becomes an artist and has an affair with a married woman. When World War One begins, both sides of the family suffer greatly as they must fight each other on the battlefield.
