Movie Plot:

A young girl named Mutsuko leaves her hometown to work in Tokyo, but ends up employed by a small auto repair shop owned by Norifumi Suzuki. In the neighborhood, others are also striving to better themselves, including a former dancer opening a sake bar and a struggling writer who befriends a young boy named Junnosuke who idolizes him for his adventure stories.
