Movie Plot:

The plot is about a collaboration between eight filmmakers and Teshigahara to create a newsreel-style portrayal of 1957-58 Tokyo, showcasing its bustling industry and culture through snapshots of the city’s people and events, including a rock and roll singing contest and Christmas and New Year celebrations. Surreal touches add comedy to highlight Tokyo’s energy and liveliness.
