Movie Plot:

The process of obtaining Swiss citizenship as a foreigner is difficult, as the police carefully assess the applicants’ background, integration, and potential impact on the country’s order and cleanliness. A newly recruited assistant helps the main character Bodmer deal with problematic applicants, including German physicians, an Eastern European dancer, and an Italian family, who hinder their chances of getting citizenship.
