Movie Plot:

Punjabi-speaking Shalini Singh grew up in the Himalayan region of India and was engaged at a young age to Neil Brar, who later moved to the United States. When Shalini goes to California to try and win Neil back, she discovers he is with another woman and turns to a coworker for help in “Americanizing” herself. However, her plans are disrupted when her family from India unexpectedly arrives and exposes her coworker’s true intentions.
