Movie Plot:

A stylish and dream-like rendition of gay Black men’s lives during the Harlem Renaissance, with footage and photographs from that era woven into a story. The film showcases a wake and an elegant bar where men in tuxedos dance and socialize. It also features a man’s dream where he is rejected by Beauty, who is later revealed to have been sleeping beside him. The film hints at the freedom and celebration of gay Black men in 1920s Harlem through its visual storytelling.
