Movie Plot:

In occupied Paris during 1942, Algerian immigrant Younes is coerced by the police to spy on the imam of the Paris Mosque, who is suspected of aiding Jews. However, as he becomes more aware of the atrocities occurring under German occupation, Younes develops a close friendship with a Jewish and homosexual singer named Salim.
