Movie Plot:

A satirical novel set in the “New West” follows the grammatically-challenged candidate Dicky Pilager, who is running for governor with the help of his campaign manager Chuck Raven. When Pilager discovers a dead body during a political ad shoot, he hires private detective Danny O’Brien to investigate any connections between the corpse and his family’s enemies. Danny’s investigation leads him into a network of corruption and power, involving lobbyists, media companies, and illegal immigrants.
