Movie Plot:

Soraya, a strong-willed Brooklyn native from a Palestinian refugee family, discovers her grandfather’s frozen savings in a bank account in Jaffa and becomes determined to claim them while also fulfilling her dream of “returning” to Palestine. Along the way, she meets Emad, a fellow Palestinian with a contrasting desire to leave forever, and together they challenge the constraints of their lives to pursue freedom, even at the cost of breaking the law.
