Movie Plot:

Angela, a princess, falls in love with lieutenant Giovanni at carnival time and wants to marry him instead of the boring banker she was supposed to marry. However, obstacles such as her father’s disapproval, war, and a false belief that Giovanni died in battle, prevent them from being together. Angela becomes a nun and Giovanni desperately wants to find a way back to her.
