Movie Plot:

During World War II in Scandinavia, Ann Mari, a Norwegian nurse, falls in love with the Finnish soldier Markus, but he is forced to leave when Finland goes to war again. Ann Mari moves on and falls for a German soldier named Maximilian, but Markus eventually returns and they all must flee Sweden as deserters.
