Movie Plot:

In 1968, a sixteen-year-old half-Japanese, half-American girl living in Okinawa works at a restaurant catering to American GIs and meets the leader of a local rock band. They start dating and she joins the band, leading to changes in their lives as Okinawa transitions and the band gains success. This is based on the real life of singer Marie Kyan.
