Movie Plot:

Agnes Von Krusenstjerna, a Swedish author, is brought to a mental hospital by her husband and two psychiatric nurses during the Venice Carnival. She carries with her a manuscript of her autobiography, which is seen as her showdown with her family and reflects her evolution from a writer of innocent girls’ books to a more serious and introspective novelist.
