Movie Plot:

Magadh Samrat Ajaatshatru is never able to defeat neighboring state Vaishai, and when he finally does, he falls in love with a woman named Amrapali. However, when she is sentenced to death by the ruler of Vaishai, Ajaatshatru destroys the city in a fit of rage and frees Amrapali, only to realize that she is no longer the same person he fell in love with.
