Movie Plot:

Dr. Malcolm Sayer, a clinical physician with a research background, is hired at a hospital in the Bronx where he discovers patients with a rare form of Parkinson’s disease frozen in time. He convinces his skeptical boss to administer an experimental drug therapy on one patient, awakening him and bringing up ethical and emotional issues as the treatment is considered for other patients.
