Movie Plot:

During World War I, the Moreau farm in France is greatly impacted as their son joins the army, a P.O.W. camp is built on their land, and their daughter develops a strong hatred towards Germany. However, as she gets to know one of the German prisoners, Oscar Muller, she starts to see the goodness in him, leading to backlash from those around them and a looming sense of tragedy.
