Movie Plot:

The plot follows the life of prisoner Robert Franklin Stroud, from his conviction for murder and multiple trials to his eventual sentence of life imprisonment. After finding a passion for raising and studying birds, Stroud receives a life sentence and starts a business selling bird medicine, but is later transferred to Alcatraz and forced to leave his birds behind.
