Plot for the movie:

Conrad Birdie, a popular rock & roll star, is drafted during the 1960s and in order to make his fortune and marry his girlfriend, aspiring chemist and songwriter Albert plans for Conrad to appear on The Ed Sullivan Show and kiss a high school girl goodbye. However, Albert’s mother will do anything to break up his relationship with Rosie while the high school couple, Kim and Hugo, live in Sweet Apple, Ohio where the story unfolds.
