Movie Plot:

Sara, a woman who recently married Gaten, a single African-American father, is thrown into a difficult situation when Gaten dies and she is left to take care of his daughter, Clover, who she has not formed a strong bond with. This is complicated by objections from some of Gaten’s acquaintances regarding Sara being Clover’s guardian.
