Movie Plot:

Columbus’ fourth voyage has been a disaster, with no success in finding a westward passage or obtaining gold, and his attempts at building a colony have failed. The monarchs of Spain are unwilling to restore his rights and privileges, and Columbus is now seen as a failure. Some of his sailors choose to stay in Hispaniola or Puerto Rico rather than face the journey home.
