Movie Plot:

Aurelia, a peasant, struggles to maintain her husband’s estate while he is in prison. When Juan becomes her farmhand, the land starts to prosper again and he develops feelings for her. However, the village does not want to work on the “damned” land until her husband is released from prison and resumes control.
