Movie Plot:
The story takes place in the Kuban steppes where two collective farms are in competition for the best wheat harvest. Galina, the chairwoman of one farm, competes with her rival Gordey, who is in love with her. Meanwhile, Dasha, a collective farm worker, also harbors feelings for Galina.
