Movie Plot:

In 19th century Bohemia, Hans, a stage-coach driver, is in love with the mayor’s daughter Marie. However, Marie has been promised to another man, Wenzel, and their arranged marriage causes tension between Hans and Marie. In a turn of events, Wenzel reveals he loves someone else and Hans agrees to not interfere in their relationship in exchange for money. This leads to Marie ending her relationship with Hans.
