Movie Plot:

Polish neighbors Pawlak and Kargul, along with their grandchild Ania, receive an invitation from Pawlak’s brother John to travel to America. Upon arrival in Chicago, they discover that John has died and they must find his illegitimate daughter before attending his funeral. The story is set in the late 1970s and follows the adventures of these charming villagers in a foreign land.
