Plot for the movie:

Paul has a foot fetish and makes calls to women to describe their shoes but is rejected until he reaches out to Leyla, a sheltered daughter of immigrants. Meanwhile, Paul deals with his lonely neighbor and work rival, while a retired librarian befriends a protesting widower. They form an unlikely group as Paul tries to overcome his obsession and develop a friendship with Leyla despite her fear of xenophobia.
