Movie Plot:

Gracie Allen takes over her father’s shop and transforms it into a radio station and then an aviary, while her father is preoccupied with finding a husband for her younger sister who wants to go to Hollywood. The story follows Gracie and her family to Hollywood and their adventures there, including Gracie’s attempts to break into the movies.
