Movie Plot:
During a war between Venice and Genoa, inquisitors imprison Venetian citizen Marco Polo and use him to falsely implicate Venice in heresy. The Venetians call for the help of French army to defeat Genoa, and Polo begins dictating his stories to Rosticello, embellished with the latter’s own fantasies.
