Movie Plot:

Claude Dodd, an electrician and baritone singer in a small town, is discovered by a mattress company owner and becomes a successful tenor. Along the way, he falls in love with his manager’s secretary, Marjorie, and becomes entangled in a scheme involving his invention and a gold-digger, causing him to temporarily run away back to his hometown.
