Movie Plot:

While celebrating her birthday with her provider in Biarritz, Irene begins a romantic affair with a barman named Jean, who she mistakes for a wealthy guest. When her lover finds out about the affair, he disowns her, but Irene continues to live a luxurious lifestyle until her money runs out. Jean and Irene stay in contact as she moves on to a new lover and he gets involved in her business dealings.
