Plot for the movie:

Johnny Brownell, a former Confederate officer, is sent on a mission to gather evidence against a group of raiders in Texas during the Reconstruction. He saves the life of a rebel and gains the gratitude of a widow who hates Yankees, only to discover that the leader of the raiders is being used by a lawyer for his own corrupt purposes. Additionally, a woman billed as Reno Blair is also involved in the plot as Belle’s daughter.
